Solid wood

Overview
The full design intent, materials, and how this system is built — in detail.
The BV-008 is a solid wood bathroom vanity cabinet measuring 80 cm wide, 48.5 cm deep and 50 cm tall (800 mm x 485 mm x 500 mm) - a compact footprint sized for a single-basin layout in a guest bath, ensuite or powder room without crowding the floor.
Building the cabinet from solid wood gives it a distinct advantage that engineered panels cannot match: repairability. Most surface damage on a solid-wood piece can be addressed by sanding and refinishing rather than replacement, alongside the strength, longevity and natural character that make solid hardwood a fixture in heirloom-quality furniture.
A bathroom is the most demanding room a wood cabinet can live in, so the BV-008 rewards a little routine care. Wipe splashes within a few minutes - especially along seams and door edges - keep wet towels off the doors, and check the under-sink plumbing periodically for slow leaks, since shower humidity, condensation and pooling water at joints are the main threats to any wood vanity. Running a properly sized exhaust fan during and after showers and holding indoor relative humidity around 40 to 55 percent keeps the wood fibers from swelling or drying, and dusting with a soft, barely damp microfiber cloth prevents abrasive buildup.
We build the BV-008 as a display-and-inquiry piece. For the confirmed wood species and finish, basin and tap cutout options, hardware and exact specifications - and for pricing - speak with our team through a consultation at /consultation.

FAQ

Run a properly sized exhaust fan during and after showers, keep indoor humidity around 40 to 55 percent, and dust with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth. Shower humidity, condensation and pooling water at joints are the main threats to any wood vanity.
