The CT-017 coffee table is built around a square marble top, here in a dark, dramatically veined marble paired with a smoked wood veneer base. The top measures 100 cm wide by 100 cm deep and sits low at 32 cm tall, a generous square that anchors a seating arrangement and gives every side of a sofa group equal reach to the surface.

The top is natural marble. Natural stone is relatively soft and porous compared with engineered surfaces, which is part of what gives marble its depth and the unique, unrepeatable veining across each slab, but it also means the stone absorbs liquids and can react with acids. The smoked wood veneer base is shaped to recede visually beneath the stone, letting the marble itself read as the table.

Marble tabletops are typically fabricated by polishing the slab edges and bonding a wood sub-top underneath, so the base attaches to the wood rather than directly into the stone, which protects against weak points.
