Overview
The full design intent, materials, and how this system is built — in detail.
The DC-028 is a dining chair built on a metal frame, engineered to sit repeatedly at a table without visual fatigue. Its exact width, depth, and seat height are confirmed at consultation and cut to your table geometry, so the seat clears the apron and the back reads at the height you want across a full place setting.
The frame carries a decorative PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish, a coating formed by vaporizing a source material inside a high-vacuum chamber and bonding it to the metal as an ultra-hard thin film. Depending on the deposited material, PVD yields furniture tones such as champagne, gunmetal, or bronze, so the DC-028 frame can read as a soft goldish champagne or a cool grey metallic edge to match your dining scheme.
Because the same PVD process can start from a polished base or a brushed base, the frame supports either a mirror-polished metal look or a satin brushed one. The coating is hard and corrosion- and tarnish-resistant, which matters for a chair frame handled at every meal, where hands, chair-pushing, and the occasional spill are routine rather than exceptional.
Care is simple: wipe the frame with a soft cloth and mild soap and water, and avoid abrasive pads, bleach, and acid-based tarnish or rust removers, which can damage the coating. For exact seat dimensions, available PVD tones, and pricing, book a consultation at /consultation and we will confirm the full specification for your table.

FAQ
These questions help buyers compare options and reduce friction before inquiry.
The metal frame carries a decorative PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating, a thin film bonded to the metal in a high-vacuum chamber. It can be produced in furniture tones such as champagne, gunmetal, or bronze, and as either a mirror-polished or satin brushed surface. Final tone and finish are confirmed at consultation.
Clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach, and any tarnish or rust removers containing hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, or phosphoric acid or caustic agents, as these can damage the coating. PVD is scratch- and tarnish-resistant, but it is not indestructible.
The DC-028's width, depth, and seat height are confirmed at consultation so the seat and back suit your specific dining table and place settings. Share your table dimensions with us at /consultation and we will confirm the exact fit.
