Warm Oak Minimalist Apartment with 304 Stainless Steel Wardrobes

A newly delivered apartment in warm oak and soft white 304 stainless steel: a boutique-style walk-in closet with island, open oak wardrobe runs behind sliding panels, a full-height sideboard wall, tea pantry and floating double vanity.

The home

Photographed at handover, before furniture arrived, this apartment shows its joinery the way a gallery shows work: pale oak interiors, soft-white doors and long sight lines over book-matched marble and blonde timber floors. The centrepiece of the open living area is a full-height sideboard wall — flat white fronts split by an oak serving niche, with a beverage fridge built into one end — that carries pantry, serving and display duties in a single elevation. Nearby, a compact tea pantry pairs white counters with smoked-glass display towers, and a study wall repeats the oak-niche motif beside a black-framed glass bookcase.

The dressing spaces are the most theatrical rooms in the home. The main walk-in closet is built like a boutique: black steel hanging frames with smoked-glass end panels line the walls, a perforated oak screen slides across one side, and a rounded island chest of drawers holds the centre of the floor. Elsewhere, open oak wardrobe runs — lit rails, shelving and drawer stacks — slide behind full-height white panels, so each bedroom can shift between open display and clean, closed elevations. A corridor of open oak shelving links these rooms and keeps the warm tone running through the plan.

One suite turns dark, with a walnut-toned wardrobe wall holding a recessed media niche and open shelving, and an adjoining desk bay that looks straight through to the dressing island. The bathrooms stay light: a floating double vanity carries a stone basin deck and a tall matte-grey storage cabinet, while marble-lined walls do the rest. All of the cabinetry is fabricated in 304 stainless steel beneath its lacquered and wood-grain finishes — a fit-out chosen to stay flat, hygienic and moisture-proof for decades, and photographed here at its cleanest, before a single box moved in.
